In Greek, there are two sounds like 'K'. Christos is not spelled 'kristos' but instead 'xristos'. I think the Na'vi should therefore be "Kxrrì'stu". However, if we ever get a word for this http://img713.imageshack.us/i/facepaint.jpg/ then we should use that instead. --Eltu Lefngap Makto 23:39, 5 April 2011 (UTC)
- Χριστός, I know the X is more aspirated as the K. But well, I think it doesn't is as much aspirated as a Kx.
- AND: my Greek teacher (Yes, I had two years of Greek in school) always pronounced X as "ch" as the Greek pronounce it now. -- eejmensenikbenhet 21:47, 6 April 2011 (GMT+1)
- Oh! I had no idea you knew so much! Cool. Well, I know it's not as aspirated as kx, but I thought it would be helpful to help illustrate the differences between Greek sounds to the Na'vi. Otherwise, we'd never use kx. --Eltu Lefngap Makto 21:33, 6 April 2011 (UTC)
