God or god
Do you remember the scene from 3 Amigos when the German guy is talking to Martin Short's character and says, "You vere da shtar ov da shilver shkreen. To me you vere a god!" Most languages have 'god' in that sense -- little 'g' -- and that would be useful. Toruk Makto's, for their great cultural legacy, must be remembered as larger than life after they die. Nothing is going to be in the same category as Eywa -- she is sui generis. But there must be more mighty men and women who receive communal reverence. That's all θεοὶ (theoi) in Greek, אלהים (elohim) in Hebrew and DEI in Latin originally meant. --Aquatiki 06:02, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
